New Year, New Dreams, New Goals

As the new year has begun, I've thought a lot about what I want to accomplish this year. I've dealt with a lot of health problems in the last few years and this year I don't want to let them keep me from doing the things I love. I suffer from a joint disability called hypermobility syndrome. It causes my joints to extend beyond the normal range of motion. So basically the only thing holding my joints together are my muscles and ligaments. It causes a lot of injuries and I've been in and out of physical therapy A LOT. Along with that I also have kidney stones for no reason, severe headaches, and many other things. These health issues normally keep people from doing a lot of things. People with hypermobility, normally kids and teens, have to quit sports, and other physical activities because they're constantly in so much pain. I've tried very hard to keep doing the things I love to do despite my joints. I'm a dancer and a performer and I love sports. Some days I wake up and I feel absolutely terrible. My whole body hurts, and I can't move my legs. But I get up and I go to school anyway. One of my goals and dreams for 2019 is to be in a financial and social position so that I can start a chronic pain and illness group for kids and teens all over the world who don't have resources otherwise. This blog will be a place where I talk about my day to day, and share fashion, travel, makeup, and hair tips. Each of my posts here will go along with one of my post on all of my social medias.
